When did you get started as a barista and how?
I fell into the world of Coffee through my passion for food and have been a Barista for the past 10 months.
Who is your mentor in brewing?
My chemist brain and the internet. There are many people but I have to say above all my parents. Their passion for food and beverage allowed me to focus on how time and temperature act upon the wonderful plants we turn into, well, food and beverage.
Where would you like to be a guest barista?
At a families home in Ethiopia or Java. With Tim Wendelboe.
If you couldn’t be a barista - what would you be doing?
Brewing at home.

What is your favorite shift and why?
Morning shift definitely. Get to make people's day's better and it also makes my day longer.
